Anthony Joseph Strickland (aka Gabbard) entered guilty pleas to six of the 13 charges he had against him when he appeared at provincial court in Corner Brook Friday.

Strickland, 19, pleaded guilty to being disguised with the intention of committing an indictable offence and breaching a court order in relation to the break in, which involved the stealing of a safe that was later recovered by police.

The other three offences to which he entered guilty pleas were among nine offences that Strickland already had before the courts at the time of his arrest last weekend. Those included two counts of uttering threats and another court order breach.

Seven outstanding charges from both incidents will be withdrawn by the Crown upon conviction.

A sentencing hearing will be held April 4.

Strickland has consented to remain in custody until he is sentenced.
