ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Since Alert Level 5 went into effect across the province, Bowring Park in St. John's has been crowded.
Really crowded.
So much so that the City of St. John's, in an effort to make physical distancing easier, has modified the direction of travel throughout the park's main thoroughfare to a counter-clockwise direction around the bungalow.
Walkers heading east from the playground and swimming pool towards the duck pond should head right after crossing the bridge and walk past the bungalow. Those headed west from the duck pond towards the playground should stick to their right, walking past the greenhouse up the hill on their way to the bridge.
In response to large numbers of pedestrians in Bowring Park and the need to physically distance, it has become necessary to modify the direction of travel to a counter-clockwise direction around the Bungalow#covid19nfld #nltraffic pic.twitter.com/3m7Y2AM9Br
