ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — St. John’s and Mount Pearl are going to the dogs.
But that is not a bad thing.
The RCMP announced Thursday morning that for the remainder of this week, the local force’s Police Dog Services will be conducting training in areas of both cities.
Residents are advised they shouldn’t be alarmed if they see police and their canine partners in their area. It is just part of the regular training that helps ensure their readiness for duty when called upon.
