An appreciative Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 1, presented Madonna Porter with flowers and many expressions of thanks Saturday for her donation of a huge collection of Barbie dolls and other collectables to the legion.

A number of legion members arrived at her Conception Bay South home to pack up and remove the collection that will be auctioned off at a later time. The donation will help the branch carry on its many services after being severely impacted by the COVID-19 restrictions.
