St. John’s, N.L. — Police arrested a woman and a man for disorderly behavior in two separate incidents in the downtown area overnight.

Around midnight the RNC responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the downtown area. A 21-year-old woman was arrested for mischief. She was held for court.

At 12:30 a.m. police responded to another downtown disturbance. As a result of this call a 29-year-old man was arrested for assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He was also held for court.
