MOUNT PEARL, N.L. — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary took a driver with $17,000 in outstanding fines off the road in Mount Pearl early this morning.
Patrol services conducted a traffic safety stop on a vehicle at about 2 a.m. and found that the 33-year-old female driver had a suspended license and no insurance.
She was subsequently issued two more fines, had her vehicle impounded and was released to appear in court at a later date.
