Eastbound Speedway opening moved to May 21

Winter’s done, and now it’s time to race. The 2018 racing season gets under way next weekend at Eastbound International Speedway in Avondale with the Islander RV Victoria Day Weekend Speedfest Sunday.

St. John’s, N.L.  —Eastbound International Speedway has moved its season debut originally scheduled for Sunday to Monday May 21 due to impending inclement weather. 

The Main Events will present the Islander RV Victoria Day Weekend Speedfest at noon.  A news release from Eastbound stated the event will be the season opener and is the most anticipated NASCAR and INEX racing season in its five-year history.

Tickets are available at eastboundpark.com, North Atlantic Orangestores or at the gates.
