Eastern Health’s offices, clinics and services located at Mount Pearl Square will be temporarily closed this afternoon.
“This temporary closure is necessary due to an unanticipated loss of water to the building,” reads a news release from Eastern Health.
“The City of Mount Pearl has advised that it will be several hours before water is restored. Once restored, appointments for dialysis will resume and may continue into the evening as usual at Mount Pearl Square.”
Patients receiving dialysis treatments are being notified individually so that their appointments can be rescheduled at another site, if necessary. Clients with appointments for public health or community health nursing will be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled.
