Empire Avenue incident in St. John's resolved

An apparent standoff on Empire Avenue in St. John’s Monday has been resolved with RNC vehicles leaving the scene where a residence on the street had been contained. 

The RNC has issued an advisory to the public this morning that it had closed Empire Avenue from Ropewalk Lane to Cordage Place while the incident was being dealt with.
