A 13-year-old girl spent the night in jail following an assualt complaint at a Mount Pearl home Sunday evening.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to a home in the city around 8 p.m.
This calls resulted in the girl being arrested and charged with assault, uttering threats and two breaches of an undertaking.
She was held overnight pending a court apeparance on Monday.
At approximately 9:40 p.m., the RNC were called to a home in the east end of St. John's. After an investigation, this led the RNC to the C.B.S. area where they arrested a 53-year-old man on two separate incidents including uttering threats and criminal harrassment.
He was held overnight Sunday for a court appearance Monday morning.
The RNC responded to 111 calls during its most recenty 24-hour reporting period.
