Last year 160 people attended the event in St. John’s. This year the event was held at Atlantic Place and drew fiddlers of all ages. The event was promoted on Facebook at World Fiddle Day St. John’s.
Some of the children who participated at the event were part of a local group Strong Harbour Strings, which offers free instruction to kids in the centre city area of St. John’s. Some who came to listen cheerfully made a donation to the program.
