ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department were called to a structure fire at a storage warehouse on Sugarloaf Road Monday.
Multiple callers reported smoke coming from the A. Harvey and Co. Ltd. building just before 3:30 p.m. and when firefighters arrived, there was heavy smoke and fire coming from the back end of the structure.
They made entry and brought the fire under control, but not before the building and its contents suffered significant damage.
No information was available as to what might have started the fire.
