ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Staff and customers were able to quick evacuate a Tim Hortons on Topsail Road when a smoke was detected in the building.
Several St. John's Regional Fire Department crews responded to the call at 648 Topsail Road with a ladder truck used to access the roof and check the building's HVAC system.
Firefighters have since brought in a smoke eater to rid the smell of the store.
Eastern Health paramedics are on scene and the RNC have the entrances to the area blocked to vehicular traffic as well.
