Firefighters made quick work of a patio fire on Skanes Avenue in St. John’s Sunday night.
The fire was reported by neighbours of the Kilbride area home and when firefighters arrived on scene, they discovered a small fire under the rear patio of the home.
They quickly extinguished the flames, leaving the patio with minor damage.
There was no one home at the time of the incident and there were no injuries.
