The St. John’s Fire Fighters Association, Local 1075 of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) has dedicated a St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) pumper fire truck to the late Nevaeh Denine and Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand.
The truck will appear in various Santa Claus parades. The design was created by I Design Ltd. and the pumper unit outfitted last weekend.
Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand was one of the charities contributed to by the St. John’s Fire Fighters Association. Nevaeh founded her namesake charitable cause a few years ago to help other sick children. Nevaeh died of cancer on Aug. 6 at the age of 9.
Nevaeh’s pumper truck will lead the downtown St. John’s Santa Claus parade on Sunday, beginning at noon.
