Five people have been displaced following a house fire in the Goulds area of St. John’s.
Firefighters were called to the home on Forest Pond Road at about 9:30 p.m. and found smoke coming from the structure.
It appears a fire started inside a rear wall under a window and spread to the attic before firefighters extinguished the flames.
There was moderate damage to that area of the house and power had to be cut to the dwelling, displacing the residents.
There were no injuries.
