A Mount Pearl property was firebombed a third time in less than a week early Monday morning.

Firefighters were called once again to the home on Laumann Place but, like the two previous incidents, a quick-thinking neighbour had the fire mostly extinguished by the time they arrived.

Reports from the scene indicate another incendiary device was apparently used to set the porch on fire.

The same thing happened six days ago and just two days ago, a car parked in the driveway was torched.

Police had already issued a plea to the general public for information that might identify the perpetrators before Monday morning’s incident happened.

There were no injuries.
