A four-vehicle crash at a notorious St. John’s intersection has sent one person to hospital Saturday night.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Allandale Road and the Prince Philip Parkway just after 7 p.m. and left four vehicles with various amounts of damage.

One person was taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered serious and traffic at the intersection was snarled until the scene could be cleared.

The intersection is the frequent scene of motor-vehicle collisions.
