Gander man arrested for impaired driving after crashing vehicle into snowbank

GANDER, N.L. — A 67-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving after the RCMP received a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Cooper Boulevard in Gander around 10 p.m. on Monday, March 25.

The driver, a resident of Gander, went off the road and landed in a snowbank, according to a RCMP news release.

The man’s vehicle was impounded and his licence suspended.

He was released from custody and will appear in court on May 28.
