GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. - A fire at Norseman Window and Siding in Grand Falls-Windsor on Thursday evening, July 18, has been confirmed as arson.
The RCMP fire investigator and the Office of the Fire Commissioner investigated the blaze and determined it was set on purpose, according to a release on Friday, July 20.
The business suffered major smoke and water damage as a result of the fire.
The investgation is ongoing.

GRAND FALLS-WINDSOR, N.L. – A fire at Norseman Window and Siding in Grand Falls-Windsor Thursday evening, July 18, resulted in major smoke and water damage to the building, according to the RCMP.
In a release, the RCMP indicated they were notified about the blaze just before midnight.
Also responding to the scene were the Grand Falls-Windsor Municipal Police and the fire department.
A fire scene investigator with the RCMP and a member of the Office of the Fire Commissioner are currently on the scene trying to determine the cause of the fire, the release noted.
