Award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hawksley Workman will perform in St. John’s May 27 and May 28 at Club One.

Workman will perform songs from his 16th studio album titled “Median Age Wasteland."

Workman of the new single “Lazy” released on Friday that it is an exploration of love and memories.

Workman on Friday announced the first of several performances for 2019 including a special evening titled “A Night On Drums With Hawksley Workman.”

A veteran drummer/producer whose countless projects include records by Tegan and Sara, Serena Ryder, Hey Rosetta!, and  Great Big Sea, Workman will host a special evening of drumming and storytelling in Regina on Jan. 28 with all profits to be donated to SOPHIA House Regina. 

“I’ve always had this constant hunger to innovate, re-evaluate what I do, and keep remaking it to confuse myself and maybe confuse my audience,” Workman said. “This time, I’m just committing to writing focused and honest songs, which feels like the most interesting thing I can do right now.”
