ST. ANTHONY, N.L. — Contacts of a health-care worker at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony who tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday have all been identified and are quarantining.
The Labrador-Grenfell Health Authority issued a press release on the matter on Monday evening. It noted that the contacts are being tested, but did not provide any information on the numbers being tested.
It also said no close contacts among patients served by Labrador-Grenfell Health have been identified at this stage.

The health authority is working with staff to ensure the delivery of safe patient care and continues to monitor staff resources to ensure service delivery. It said there may changes in how care is delivered within the hospital and that outpatient laboratory collection will be suspended for today, with capacity re-evaluated daily.
The health authority has set up a drive-thru testing site today for anyone in the St. Anthony and surrounding areas concerned about contact and who would like to be tested.
No appointments are necessary, and the site is located in Apt. 209, 178-200 West St., at the back of the old hospital. It’s open until 3 p.m. today.
