Several RNC vehicles are gathered on White Place in Mount Pearl following reports of an altercation on the cul-de-sac Tuesday afternoon.
Police were given a description of a vehicle and officers pursued the vehicle and conducted a high risk vehicle stop on the corner of Jeffers Drive and Smallwood Drive.
At this time, police have no one in custody or any suspects or vehicles seized.
Witnesses say an SUV was stopped at the corner of Jeffers Drive and Smallwood Drive and a person was seen to flee the scene. Later, witnesses reported police entering a home on White Place.
Police would not confirm any details but may issue more details later.
