It's a good idea for motorists to take their time today, Monday, Dec. 3, as roads are slushy on the Burin Peninsula.
A tractor-trailer went off the highway on Grand Beach Hill this morning, blocking traffic for some time. A crane was called to the scene to help put the truck back on the road.
Traffic began to flow again around 9:40 a.m.
