The Human Rights Commission of Newfoundland and Labrador presented its annual Human Rights Award at Government House on Thursday afternoon. The main recipient of the award was Kim White of St. John’s, while the Human Rights Champion Award was presented to Anastasia Qupee, Grand Chief of the Innu Nation, and Joanne Thompson, a board member of The Gathering Place.
