ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor is investigating a hunting incident that left a man with a gunshot wound.

About 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, the RCMP received a report indicating a man was shot by another man while the two were hunting near Green Valley Farms in Botwood.

The injured man was taken to the hospital in Grand Falls-Windsor and is being treated for injuries caused by a gunshot.

The investigation into the incident is continuing.
