Incident at Memorial University lab sends one to hospital

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A man was taken to the Health Sciences Centre with undisclosed injuries following an incident at a Memorial University laboratory.

Around 1 p.m., emergency responders were called to the Chemistry-Physics building along Prince Philip Drive. The lone individual was conscious and sitting up as paramedics loaded him into the ambulance.

The incident is under investigation.
