MUD LAKE, NL – The flooding that forced residents of Mud Lake from their homes in May 2017 was obviously a traumatic experience for those involved.

You need look no further than the people themselves, some of who recently shared their stories with Labrador Land Protectors, a group of concerned citizens who are opposed to the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric mega-project, to learn how much so.

Many people in Mud Lake and beyond blame Nalcor and the mega-project for the disaster.

In a series of videos on the group’s YouTube channel, the victims are interviewed and talk about what they went through during the flooding and how the aftermath of the distaster continues to impact them.
