Warrick Pike is being charged with two counts of sexual assault and a single count of sexual interference, involving someone under the age of 16.

Pike had the case set over for a preliminary inquiry, which is set for July 7 and 8 in Happy Valley-Goose Bay court. The purpose of a preliminary inquiry is to determine whether these is enough evidence to proceed to trial. Essentially, it tests the strength of the Crown’s case against an accused.

Pike was a board member for Air Labrador until late last year, a company his family formerly owned.
