Connor, who lives in Alberta but whose parents are from Placentia, has a severe form of cancer. His family is fundraising for him to travel to the United States for an experimental treatment that’s not covered by the provincial health-care system.
The rock fundraiser features AC/DC and Led Zeppelin music in aid of Connor on Tuesday, Feb. 23rd at The Levee in Holdsworth Court.
Doors open 8:30 p.m., with the talented Chris Kearsey up first, playing a short set.
At 9:30 p.m., there will be an AC/DC tribute set, featuring Colleen Power, Colin Harris, Jill Porter, Doug Rowe, Paddy Byrne, Chris Donnelly, Jordan Goudie and Gene Browne!
At 10:45 p.m., a Led Zeppelin Tribute set is scheduled with Colin Harris, Colleen Power, Paddy Byrne, Chris Donnelly and Gene Browne, followed by The BT All Stars open jam session.
The cover charge is by donation — a $10 or more donation gets you a ticket on a prize!
