St. John’s, N.L. — The RNC arrested a 54-year-old man after responding to a report of animal cruelty in the Goulds area of St. John’s Saturday morning shortly before noon.
Police received a report that a cat was stabbed. The cat was dead when police arrived.
The man was charged with cruelty to animals.
The cat’s body was taken to the St John’s Veterinary Hospital for an examination.
