ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has charged a 66-year-old with two counts of assault and a breach of court order following a disturbance Wednesday afternoon.

Police responded to an intoxicated man at a west end business and their ensuing investigation led to charges against the senior citizen.

The man was held overnight to appear in provincial court this morning.
