Man arrested for parking meter coin theft Monday morning in St. John's

The City of St. John's says people who park at damaged parking meters for more than two hours will soon be ticketed.

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — Shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) officers responded to a report of a man stealing money from parking meters in downtown St. John’s. 

According to an RNC report, a 25-year-old man was arrested, charged with theft and breach of court orders, and held for court in the morning.
