St. John’s, N.L. — An alleged assault Friday morning led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man in the centre area of St. John’s.

The RNC was called to the scene about 11:40 a.m. where the man was arrested for assault and uttering threats.

He was conveyed to the lockup to await an appearance in court.
