ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A 24-year-old man was to appear in court Sunday morning in connection to a Saturday afternoon robbery at a west end financial institution in St. John’s.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to the scene shortly before 2 p.m.
The police were told that a man had entered the premises, demanded money and then fled the scene in a vehicle.
After investigating, officers arrested the suspect, who was charged with robbery as well as with disguise with intent.
He was brought to the lockup to appear in court in the morning.
