C.B.S., N.L. — A 22-year-old man was arrested after an incident after reports of assault in Conception Bay South Saturday night.
Around 9 p.m. the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a call of a weapons offence. After a short investigation the suspect was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The man was released with conditions to appear in provincial court at a later date.
