The RCMP/RNC Integrated Internet Child Exploitation (IICE) section arrested and charged 48-year-old Amgad Nassif of St. John’s last Thursday for online child exploitation offences.
In July 2019, police obtained a search warrant for a St. John's residence. Analysis of the items seized during that search revealed child pornography.
Nassif has been charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography and has since been released on an undertaking with conditions designed to protect the general public. He is scheduled to attend court at a later date.
