CLARENVILLE, N.L. — The 35-year-old man charged with the Jan. 10 armed robbery of Clarenville’s Dollarama was released on bail Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Mitchell Fennell, who is charged with armed robbery of $87.75, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (a knife allegedly used in the robbery), and being disguised with intent, was released on several conditions, including that he must remain away from the Dollarama, as well as the Esso gas station on Memorial Drive in Clarenville, where he allegedly stole two cans of beer on Jan. 2.
There are a number of people which Fennell must also not communicate of come into contact with.
Fennell must also reside at a residence in Plate Cove West, and must submit any weapons, firearms, or related license to RCMP, and must adhere to a curfew, as well as avoid any alcohol or illegal drugs.
He is scheduled to appear in court again March 15.
