Man charged with mischief after Outer Ring accident

St. John’s, N.L. — Police were called to the scene of an accident on the Outer Ring Road around 6:45 p.m. Saturday where a vehicle had collided with a guardrail.

A 27-year old man was charged with public mischief and issued a ticket under section Highway Traffic Act for failing to identify the driver of the vehicle.

The vehicle was impounded and the man was released to appear in court at a later date.
