Man charged with shoplifting at west end mall in St. John’s

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) officers have charged a 38-year-old man with theft under $5,000 and two breaches of court orders after officers responded to a call of shoplifting on Friday around 5 p.m.

The report indicates the alleged incident happened at a west end shopping mall in St. John’s, but does not specify which mall.

The accused was held at the lockup overnight to appear in court Saturday morning.
