A 27-year-old man will appear in a St.John's court this morning on seevral charges including assault stemming from an incident in Kilbride at 12:50 p.m. Thursday.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were called to the home and arrested the man on the assault charge in addition to several breaches of court orders.
The accused and victim were known to each other. There was no medical attentiom required following the incident.
The accused was taken to lockup and will appear in court Friday morning.
In another call, the RNC are seeking information stemming from a disturbance at a Mount Pearl bar at around 1:20 a.m. early Friday morning.
A man was injured in the disturbance and taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries sustained in the assault.
No arrests have been made in this incident which the RNC say is still under investigation.
The RNC responded to 207 calls for service during its most reent reporting period.
