A 20-year-old man is facing at least seven charges stemming from his arrest by RNC on Thursday afternoon.
A number of RNC units were used to find the man including the K9 unit and mobile support after he fled from police.
He was apprehended around 3 p.m. and charged with three counts of theft, two counts of possession of stolen goods, flight from police, dangerous driving, hit and run and several counts of breaches of court orders he had previously imposed on him.
The man was taken to lockup and held for a court appearance in St. John’s.
This was one of the 157 calls for service the RNC handled during its latest 24-hour reporting period.
