BISHOP'S COVE, N.L. — A man from Bishop’s Cove is in critical condition and receiving medical treatment at Carbonear General Hospital following a single-vehicle crash over the weekend.
On Sunday, May 12 at approximately 8 p.m., officers from Bay Roberts and Harbour Grace RCMP, along with the Upper Island Cove Fire Department and Young's Ambulance, responded to a single-vehicle collision in the community of Bishop’s Cove. The vehicle left the roadway and flipped, causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle.

A collision analyst from RCMP Traffic Services has attended the scene and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
The RCMP reminds motorists of the importance of wearing a seat belt at all times and on all roadways.
