STEADY BROOK, N.L. — After a delay in opening, first due to a lack of snow and then because of COVID-19 restrictions, Marble Mountain plans to open for its 2021 season on Thursday.
The Steady Brook downhill ski facility announced its opening plans on its Facebook page on Monday afternoon.
The resort will open under a modified operating plan in respect of the Alert Level 4 guidelines. Food and beverage services, rental equipment or other services at the resort will not be available at this time. The day lodge will be open for washroom facilities only and access will be limited to 50 per cent capacity.
For the safety of everyone, the resort reminds guest who are still under Alert Level 5 that now is not the time to visit Marble Mountain.
