Nasty weather continues to disrupt Marine Atlantic crossings between Port aux Basques and North Sydney.
In addition to the earlier announcement that Christmas Days crossings were cancelled, Boxing Day crossings have also now been cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday, weather permitting.
According to Marine Atlantic’s website:
• Port aux Basques to North Sydney Monday, Dec. 25 crossing at 11:45 p.m. is now scheduled to depart Wednesday, Dec 27 at 11:45 a.m., weather permitting.
• North Sydney to Port aux Basques Monday, Dec. 25, at 11:45 is now scheduled to depart Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at 11:45 a.m., weather permitting.
• Port aux Basques to North Sydney Tuesday, Dec. 26, at 11:45 p.m. is now scheduled to depart Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 11:45 a.m., weather permitting.
• North Sydney to Port aux Basques Tuesday, Dec. 26, at 11:45 p.m. is now scheduled to depart Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 11:45 a.m., weather permitting
Check-in time is two hours prior to departure.
Due to impending weather conditions, the service is anticipating impact to further crossings during the week.
