St. John’s — Marine Atlantic is warning travellers that impending weather conditions may continue to affect ferry schedules. All departures have been put on hold for today, Boxing Day due to rough weather in the Cabot Strait.
Ferries may also be affected Wednesday, but for now are tentatively scheduled to run, the first morning runs in either direction scheduled to depart at 11:45. Marine Atlantic advises travellers to check weather conditions at Environment Canada (http://weather.gc.ca/marine/index_e.html ).
Travellers who would like to make alternate travel arrangements can call the toll-free reservation line at 1-800-341-7981.
