Memorial University’s convocation tapping social media for real time celebration

Some 970 degrees, including nearly 500 graduate degrees, will be awarded to graduating Memorial University students during fall convocation in St. John’s Thursday.
 As part of convocation celebration activities, MUN is inviting students, friends and family to share their convocation congratulations, photos and special moments via social media using the hashtag #MUNgrad18.

 Well wishes will be projected in the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre 20 minutes prior to each ceremony and can also be seen online, the university said.
