Middle Cove Beach sights are best appreciated from afar in winter, says town council

LOGY BAY-MIDDLE COVE-OUTER COVE, N.L. — Wintry sights at Middle Cove Beach should be admired from a distance, says the local town council.

The Town of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove is once again reminding residents and visitors that while breathtaking, the pounding surf and the ice wall can be extremely dangerous.

"Although a beautiful sight, Middle Cove Beach is currently a very hazardous area that brings dangers of strong force and unpredictable falling ice. Admirers are strongly advised to stand back and view from a safe distance," reads a press release from the town.
