The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has located missing person Martin Bonia. The missing man was located deceased.

"The circumstances around the death are not suspicious in nature and we will not be providing any further information," the RNC said in its release which offered condolences to his family and friends.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Major Crime Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating Martin Bonia of Mount Pearl.

RNC have concerns for Bonia’s well-being.

The 53-year-old is described as approximately six feet tall and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds with a slim build. He has short, dark hair with some grey, brown eyes and may or may not be wearing glasses.

Bonia was last seen in the Bannister Street area of Mount Pearl near 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The RNC says anyone with information on Bonia’s whereabouts is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or nlcrimestoppers.com.
