A man who was reported missing on Friday was found dead Saturday morning.
Victor Rideout, 74, was last seen at around 4:30 a.m. in the area of Perrins Road in Conception Bay South.
Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) wrote in a statement to media that foul play was not suspected in Rideout’s death.
The RNC is working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
Police offered condolences to Rideout’s family and friends and said no further details will be released.
